Kirsten Maurer was a victim of domestic violence
homicide on January 23, 2008, at age 27.
Kirsten's family is keeping her voice alive by sharing her story and spreading the word that domestic violence can happen anytime, anywhere, to anyone.

An accomplished dancer who studied classical ballet since the age of 5, Kirsten was equally serious about her academic education.
She graduated with honors from both high school (1998, Susquehanna Township High School, Harrisburg, Pa.) and college (2002, Goucher).
